Tsukiji @ Tokyo







Accompanied Huizheng and Xiangqi (my high school friends) to Tsukiji for a sushi/sashimi brunch on Sat. We were supposed to be up early so that we could be at Tsukiji early, for the freshest sushi/sashimi. Alas, we managed to get up only at 9 plus and arrived at 10am. By the time were there, it was already 10.30am. And the crowd was already there. We queued up at 3 different restaurants before ending up at this restaurant as it had a relatively shorter queue. The restaurants in the "inner market" are so small but serves better sushi/sashimi (Note: There are many restaurants in Tsukiji esp in the "outer market" as well but I doubt they taste as good.) It was worth the wait. The "Uni Mori Hokkaidon" (1,600 yen) was fantastic, and mind you, this wasn't the "most popular" restaurant that morning (judging by the queue)...
